The representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine took part in the 12-th meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Israeli Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which was held on November 30, 2021 in Jerusalem (State of Israel).

The meeting was headed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov and Minister of Construction and Housing Policy, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and National Heritage Zeev Elkin. The Parties discussed, inter alia, bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture including following areas: agricultural technologies, aquaculture, food safety etc.

Particular attention was focused on supplying wheat, blueberries and apples from Ukraine to the State of Israel, export of table eggs and beef from Ukraine to the State of Israel, attracting Israeli investments in the irrigation and glasshouses.  

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov noted that the next meeting of the Joint Commission will be held in Kyiv.

A solemn ceremony of signing Protocol of the 12-th Meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Israeli Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held at the end of the a plenary session.
