On November 2, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Arman Khojoyan.

The Parties have discussed a wide range of issues, in particular, the land reform, livestock domain issues and cattle identification processes, as well as prospects for bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Besides, during the meeting, the Armenian side has shown interest in deepening cooperation with scientific institutions regarding their expertise in organization of breed selection.  Specific attention was paid to the production of  animal nutriment.

Also, during the working visit, the Armenian delegation visited one of the leading Ukrainian enterprises Kishchentsi LLC (Dobra village, Uman district, Cherkasy region), which is engaged in animal husbandry, crop production, grain and industrial crops, and met with representatives of the Association of Milk Producers.

In particular, during the meeting the representatives of the Republic of Armenia were acquainted with the industrial facilities of the dairy industry and the main technological processes of the enterprise.

In addition, during the visit, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Arman Khojoyan plans to visit the World Food Ukraine 2021 exhibition - the largest food and beverage exhibition in Ukraine.
