The Ukraine’s position is represented by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Olena Kovalova.
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on 3 October, 2016 at it’s headquarter in Rome (Italy) hosted the Ministerial Meeting “Long-term Commodity Price Trends and Sustainable Agricultural Development”.
The Ukraine’s position is represented by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Olena Kovalova.
As Deputy Minister said, tendency for commodity prices in the long-term trend and periodic and sudden prices growths may have a decisive impact on the development of agriculture, trade and transformation of the economy in general.
Representatives of 193 countries are participating at this event. Representatives of the countries will be able to exchange views on the relationship between commodity prices and the sustainable development of agriculture. The participants will discuss issues of food security, trade, investments etc.
