At the beginning of the year, 6,360 agricultural enterprises received UAH 40.9 billion in bank loans for development. Of these, 3,725 farms received UAH 16.6 billion in loans under the government program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9.

Farmers in the following regions received the largest amount of loans under various programs:

• Kyiv region - UAH 12.5 billion has been allocated to 590 enterprises;
• Kirovohrad region - UAH 2.6 billion to 786;
• Ternopil region - UAH 2.5 billion to 252;
• Lviv region - UAH 2.4 billion to 385;
• Dnipropetrovsk region - UAH 2.3 billion to 465;
• Vinnytsia region - UAH 2.28 billion to 613;
• Poltava region - UAH 2.1 billion to 357;
• Odesa region - UAH 2 billion to 504;
• Kharkiv region - UAH 1.7 billion to 359.

Under the program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9, enterprises in the following regions received the largest amount of money:

• Kyiv - UAH 2.1 billion for 341 enterprises;
• Kirovohrad - UAH 1.7 billion for 502;
• Vinnytsia - UAH 1.5 billion for 382;
• Kharkiv - UAH 1.5 billion for 232;
• Odesa - UAH 1.2 billion for 325;
• Volyn - UAH 993 million for 206;
• Dnipropetrovsk - UAH 957.3 million for 227.

Background information 

Concessional financing for agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9 Program in 2024-2025 is available thanks to the support of the World Bank under the Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE).

The program simplifies access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Agrarians can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are granted at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.
