Sierra Leone is interested in expanding the list of positions of Ukrainian agricultural products that are supplied to the market this African country.

It was stated by Taras Kutovyi after the meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Health of Sierra Leone Mr. Monty Patrick Jones.

"We had a very friendly conversation. Mr. Jones during meeting repeatedly said that his country is interested in expanding the list of products of Ukrainian agrarian and industrial complex that are supplied to Sierra Leone. They are interested in our chicken, table eggs and organic products. We are interested in their cocoa beans and, possibly, in investments into their livestock"- the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine said.

Today the main items of Ukrainian exports to this African country are milk and dairy products, flour. Currently, according to Taras Kutovui words, we have begun the work on expanding the range of nomenclature of agriculture and food products for exports.

Overall, the share of all Africa in the total foreign trade turnover of agricultural products of Ukraine now stands at 12.5%.
