Representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy being part of the official Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Ms. Iryna Novikova, together with representatives of the Ukrainian business community, joined the celebration of the National Day within the Expo 2020 exhibition in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

The National Day of Ukraine took place on October 4th, 2020. The  celebration included number of activities: the Ukrainian delegation visited the national pavilion along with the pavilion of the host country and partner countries, which were summed up by joining the business forum.

As part of Expo the Ukrainian pavilion was opened for the first time.

The pavilion promotes Ukraine as a constantly developing innovative country that makes significant efforts to implement smart technologies.

The UAE Minister of State for Food and Water Security Ms. Mariam Almheiri has also visited the Ukrainian pavilion which signifies strong interest of the UAE partners to the Ukrainian achievements.

Besides, within Expo 2020 a business forum was held. The Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitization Taras Dzoba attended the forum where he acquainted the participants with the investment opportunities of agribusiness in Ukraine.
