The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi had a meeting with the management and members of the Association of Grain Suppliers of Republic of Türkiye, İstanbul Cereals Pulses Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association, Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye, and Turkish Exporters' Assembly.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the restoration of logistics to safely export Ukrainian agricultural products within the framework of the implementation of the Grain Export Agreement.
"I thank the Turkish people, government and business for their constant support of Ukraine in this war, as well as the President of the Republic of Türkiye for the significant efforts made to sign the grain agreement. Its implementation will provide an opportunity to stabilize the food situation and ensure that the food crisis is not exacerbated," said Mykola Solskyi.
He emphasized that the opening of Ukrainian ports is extremely important for Ukrainian farmers, who will be able to sell grain and have resources for the next sowing campaign.
The head of "Tiryaki" management board Ahmet Tiryakioglu, assured that the Turkish private sector is ready for actions that will ensure the stable operation of the Grain Corridor. "Türkiye supports the position of territorial integrity of Ukraine," he emphasized.
In turn, the Head of the Turkish part of the Türkiye-Ukraine Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of the Republic of Türkiye, Rusen Cetin, emphasized that the restoration of logistics routes is now of the utmost importance.
