The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi, had a meeting with Daniele Donati, the Deputy Director, Office for Emergencies and Resilience of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and Pierre Vauthier, FAO Ukraine Designated Responsible Officer. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitalii Holovnia.

The participants discussed the ways to expand cooperation, including the provision of technical and financial support for the creation of a software product for the digitalization of the fishing industry. This includes the creation of a unified state electronic fisheries management system, E-Fish, which will reduce contacts between government agencies and entrepreneurs, and allow perform monitoring, inspection and control of stocking. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the State Fisheries Agency of Ukraine have been working on this project.

The meeting focused on support for businesses in the fishing industry of Ukraine.
