Taras Kutovyi, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported during a meeting with Hans Joehr, Nestlé Head of Agriculture and the President of SAI Platform.

The Minister told about general directions of reforms for the Ministry in the agrarian sector. He stressed that the major vectors for development are: land reforms, adoption of VAT special regime, support of small and medium farmers and privatization.
Hans Joehr stressed from his side: «Our common goal is the transferring of Ukrainian agrarian market to the new level. Because market in Ukraine is very prospect and powerful. Therefore, we intend to work on the territory of Ukraine for a long time and continue to develop business ».
In the framework of meeting representatives of Nestle company told about “Hospodar+” project which has been implemented since 2007 year in Ukraine. The project aimed on development of local suppliers of agricultural products, manufactures of quality raw materials and packing materials. The Minister noted that this program may to have success in the framework of small and medium farmers development in Ukraine. This is the general goal for the Ministry in the reforming of agrarian sector of Ukraine.
