CrushCorruption: the first case has been forwarded to the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU)

As of October 11, 2016 there have been received 13 complaints regarding alleged unlawful acts for consideration by specialists of the Ministry via specialized platform that was created within the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine for prevention and emergency response to cases of corruption in agriculture - crushcorruption.org.

 

One request has been forwarded to the NABU. Two of them are on the stage of collecting materials. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kytovyi has announced this.

"We have received 13 applications. One has been forwarded for consideration of NABU - complaint concerns the illegal alienation of state property in Rivne region. Another two applications are in the process of collecting materials and will be sent also to the office soon,"- said the Minister.

In particular, there were applications regarding corporate raid land grabbing (8 applications) alienation of state property (2 applications), bribery (2 applications) and unjustified payroll (1 application).

Complaints concern officials of institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and came from Chernihiv (2 applications), Dnipropetrovsk (1 application), Rivne (2 applications) Poltava (1 application) and Odessa (7 applications) regions.

Currently, we are checking the received information as required by law. The obtained materials will be sent to the competent law enforcement authorities as appropriate to take response measures according to legislation.
