"We see the progress of domestic producers in accessing the EU market. So, now 277 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export their products to the European market, of which 97 – are companies that produce food products, 180 – are producers of non-animal origin goods", - said Vladimir Lapa.

Today, 277 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export to the European Union’s markets. This was stated by the head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Mr. Volodymyr Lapa during the IX All-Ukrainian conference with international participation "Dairy Business -2016".

"We see the progress of domestic producers in accessing the EU market. So, now 277 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export their products to the European market, of which 97 – are companies that produce food products, 180 – are producers of non-animal origin goods", - said Vladimir Lapa.

He clarified that of these 97 producers of foodstuffs  7 – producers of poultry meat and products from it, 19 - fish and fishery products, 2 - eggs and products from eggs, 49 - honey, 5 - frogs' legs and snails, 1- collagen, 1- intestinal material. At the same time as a result of long-term joint efforts of government and business 13 Ukrainian enterprises were approved this year for export to the EU of milk and dairy products.

"The right of export to the EU – is an issue of status for many companies, and this is a significant advantage on other markets", - Vladimir Lapa said.

According to the Minister Taras Kutovyi, the access to the European market offers great opportunities for the development of our products and encourages producers to improve product quality and production upgrade. "We find free niches for them and produce competitive products. Therefore, the right of export for 277 Ukrainian companies is proof of product conformity with international norms and standards. Ukraine has great export potential and we will continue further opening markets for our producers, particularly for small entrepreneurs, "- said the Minister.
